Reporting to the Senior Vice President, North American Development, the incumbent will actively participate in the investment opportunity assessment process.

More precisely, the financial analyst will assume the following responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex financial assessment models for project development;
• Prepare various financial analysis for special projects;
• Through on-going research of the energy market, develop analytical benchmarking tools for evaluating on-going projects;
• Participate in the audit activities (e.g. reviewing contractual terms) during the development evaluation process;
• Support and review financial models for North American affiliates;
• Participate in development project meetings to remain informed of on-going projects;
• Support the North American Development organization in various related activities.

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance;
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience working with financial models;
• Knowledge of the energy industry would be an asset;
• Solid quantitative, analytical and organizational skills;
• Strong competencies in assessing and creating financial models;
• Ability to deal comfortably with a fast-moving environment; open minded and flexible in adapting to change;
• Quality and detail oriented and able to meet tight deadlines;
• Excellent team player as well as self-sufficient;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft systems, particularly MS-Excel.
