Reporting to the Managing Director, Generation Asset Management, the incumbent is responsible to maintain the quality of the data collected and identify reporting needs to continuously monitor the performance of the assets in the energy markets. More precisely, the Analyst will:

• Create and verify corporate reports using various sources of data and ensuring a quality control of presented results;
• Produce internal reports related to generation management;
• Manage the Generator Availability Data System;
• Work with Trading and Operations to identify relevant key performance indicators and develop reporting tools;
• Propose actions to improve data management procedures;
• Assist in the implementation and the maintenance of a quality control process of data;
• Interact with different departments to provide requested information or to obtain the required support.

Candidate profile – Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in management or in administration;
• More than three years of experience in a similar position;
• Organizational ability; resourceful and shows initiative along with the ability to work in a team;
• Ability to deal comfortably in a fast pace environment, open mind and flexibility in adapting to change;
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel and Outlook);
• Knowledge of MS Access is an asset;
• Detail-oriented;
• English essential, French is an asset.
