Brookfield Energia Renovável

Brookfield Energia Renovável operates, maintains and manages all generating stations located in Brazil. The facilities are located on 21 different river systems across seven states in Brazil and are remotely operated from its control center located in the State of Parana.

All power produced by the facilities is sold under power purchase agreements to end-use customers or local distribution companies. The average term of these power purchase agreements is more than 14 years.

South Region

  • 6 hydroelectric generating stations on 4 river systems with a total installed capacity of 123 MW, producing on average 673 GWh of electricity annually.
  • Angelina Generating Station is under construction and will have an installed capacity of 26 MW.

Southeast Region

  • 20 hydroelectric generating stations on 11 river systems with a total installed capacity of 201 MW, producing on average 959 GWh of electricity annually.

Midwest Region

  • 7 hydroelectric generating stations on 6 river systems with a total installed capacity of 246 MW, producing on average 1,514 GWh of electricity annually.
